Bread and Butterflies in Forest School
Reception and Year 1 enjoyed their forest school activities last week. They made butterflies and baked bread on a fire.
The Year 2’s took inspiration from a book called Sky Colour where a little girl didn’t know which colour paint to to create the sky as she couldn’t find any blue. We used watercolours and then made 3D clouds and butterflies using card to make springs.
Sky Art
The year ones have worked hard to develop their smudging and blending skills when using pastels. They then sketched and cut out a chosen silhouette to use to layer on top. Here is the end result!
Winners of the Coronation Crown Competition
Well done to Cara and Leo who won the crown competition. Your crowns were creative, bright and fun and fit for a King or Queen to wear.
