Welcome to our Reception page
Mrs Golby is our Reception teacher and she is supported by a variety of support staff at different times. This includes Mrs Biggs, Mrs Patterson and Ms Baker.
The Reception curriculum and environment is underpinned by the Hygge approach to learning. It is a word that describes peace, tranquility, calmness and friendship. We use the natural environment to develop children’s natural curiosity and desire to learn. Have a peek inside our classroom:

Forest School
Children in Reception go to Forest School every Tuesday afternoon and we ask that children come into school in old and comfortable clothes.
We have all in one wet suits if needed and we ask that the children leave their wellies in school for any impromptu visits to our woodland area. Have a look at what we might get up to:
