Children at Stanbridge were fortunate to have a special assembly to learn about how UK Parliament works. Isla particularly enjoyed being the Speaker of the House, as children discussed a new bill – the possibility of having a 4 day school week! Of course we were all in favour and Queen Ava had to provide the Royal Assent before it became the law! The assembly was very informative and our school council are hoping to find out more soon.
