The Year 4 children were trained on how to be effective sport’s leaders. They looked at the key skills needed and how to apply these to sporting situations with younger children. Well done Year 4. We look forward to you leading sports across school and helping the teachers.

Children were asked to come into school wearing a spotty hat they had made and donate a £1 in aid of Children In Need. They all showed their creations in assembly and we had a little competition for the child that had made the best hat. Together we raised a fantastic total of £159.51!!! Well done […]

Harvest rocked this year. The children performed verses from the song “Harvest Rock and Roll”. The children sang some of their favourite songs which included “Harvest Rock and Roll”, “We Plough the Fields and Scatter” and “Cauliflowers are Fluffy”. We all thoroughly enjoyed Year 1′s class assembly. They told us about animals and how they live. The singing was wonderful and we really enjoyed looking at all your fabulous paintings. Well done Year 1.
Tilly planted a sunflower seed in Pre-school and it has been growing and growing. She is now in Reception and her sunflower is very tall. Well done Tilly.
Year 3 and 4 started their swimming lessons and they are thoroughly enjoying their trips to Tiddenfoot Leisure Centre each week.
Will is a real whizz when it comes to completing a rubik’s cube. He is very fast and told us during an assembly that his Dad taught him how to do it. I messed up the rubik’s cube and Will completed it in less than 5 minutes. Well done Will, we were all very impressed.
