A group of children and Mrs Turney went off to take part in the Tag Rugby tournament. The children had great fun putting into practice their knowledge and competitive skills. As usual our children played with good team spirit, put their best foot forward and did us proud. Well done .
Across the afternoon children in every class including Pre-school made clay poppies to mark the First World War Centenary. 2018 marks 100 years since the end of the First World War. These poppies will go on displayed on the grass verge at the front of school in time for Remembrance on 11th November.

Children across the school have been having tennis lessons from a local coach across the half term. The children have developed their tennis skills in many ways and have enjoyed the lessons.
Children in all year groups went to the Run the Fun event where they had to run extended lengths across the afternoon at a local middle school. Such fun!
The Judo team visited Stanbridge and put soft foam jigsaw mats across the whole of our school hall in preparation for the children to have a go at Judo. It was an amazing morning and the children learnt the art of Judo in their sessions, enjoying practising and rehearsing Judo moves and throws.
Our Harvest Festival had an Italian feel this year. The children told the story of “the pizza” and told us all about where pizza toppings come from and how many food miles they have to travel through descriptions, songs and acting.
