Year 2 Class Assembly

The children became scientists for the day and went round the classes taking part in various scientific experiments.  The melted ice, analysed poo which they had made!, recycled plastics and made parachutes choosing the best material for the job, and made cheese from plastic.  Wow. Pre-school Plant Trees for the Green Tree Award

Take One Picture

This year the children studied Flowers in a Porcelain Wan -Li Vase.  The children spent the afternoon studying parts of the picture, drawing, painting and colouring vases of flowers and some children even made clay flowers.  The pictures are on display inside school for everyone to look at and enjoy.

The Inclusion Festival

Children in Year 3 and 4 were invited to attend this year’s Inclusion Festival.  The children spent the afternoon taking part in a range of sports and thoroughly enjoyed themselves.  As usual their team spirit and sense of fair play were obvious.  Well done children.

Landscape Drawing Day

The children went outside for the afternoon to draw landscapes they could see around school.  The children were developing their sketching, shading and mark making skills.  The landscapes they captured are drawn very well and accurately capture scenes from around school.
