Mrs Monteath has returned to Stanbridge this year to inspire and Year 3 and 4 classes with her singing and teaching. The children are learning a variety of songs under her expert tuition and we are all looking forward to the concert next year.

Year 2 took a trip into space when they looked at the work of Peter Thorpe who is an abstract artist. They produced collages using a range of media using paint splattings and pastels.
Year 3 were very inspired by the work of artist Frida Kahlo. They really enjoyed learning about her style of art and went on to produce their own self portraits imitating her style.
The Year 1 children took to the skies and learnt about bird eye views. They pretended to be birds looking down on their classroom. They then made their own maps. We were all very impressed with them.
The children in Reception spend a fun packed afternoon learning how to measure with cubes. They worked around the classroom measuring how tall or long and how wide or narrow objects were.
