This year the children studied Flowers in a Porcelain Wan -Li Vase. The children spent the afternoon studying parts of the picture, drawing, painting and colouring vases of flowers and some children even made clay flowers. The pictures are on display inside school for everyone to look at and enjoy.

Children in Year 3 and 4 were invited to attend this year’s Inclusion Festival. The children spent the afternoon taking part in a range of sports and thoroughly enjoyed themselves. As usual their team spirit and sense of fair play were obvious. Well done children.
The children went outside for the afternoon to draw landscapes they could see around school. The children were developing their sketching, shading and mark making skills. The landscapes they captured are drawn very well and accurately capture scenes from around school.
We were pleased to welcome Paul Weir back into school today to talk to the children about basket making. Paul has been making baskets for many years and the children were very interested in the process. A big thank you to Paul Weir.
